AJ & Mercedes’s Wedding
Our wedding will take place a few days before the Sevilla Fair (Feria de Abril). We recommend booking your hotel early to ensure availability, as prices tend to rise during this busy time. The Sevilla Fair (Feria de Abril) is a vibrant celebration of Andalusian culture, filled with colorful flamenco dresses, lively music, delicious tapas, and the joyful spirit of Spain at its most festive.
Plan to arrive by at least Friday April 17th evening and stay until at least Sunday April 19th. There are no more official events after the wedding, but we will be there until Wed April 22nd for the Feria.
Getting to Sevilla:
✈️ Plane: ~1 hr from Madrid
🚅 High-Speed Train: Renfe AVE/Iryo, Madrid Atocha to Sevilla Santa Justa, ~2.5–2.75 hrs (I personally am doing this)
🚗 Car Rental: Madrid → Sevilla, ~5–6 hrs
Attire:
Friday April 17th: Smart Casual (non-athletic shirt, no sneakers – European nightclub dress)
Saturday April 18th: Formal (suit and tie)

Average High of 72 degrees, and Low of 51 at night.
